Being pregnant is a special & magical time - so why would you not want to capture it?

I can do studio session maternity shoots or outdoor maternity shoots (depending on weather and your preference) The ideal time to book your maternity photography session in is around the 25th-34th week of pregnancy. This way you have a lovely recognisable bump but are not too uncomfortable and able to move around and pose comfortably.

I carry a small range of maternity gowns that are floaty and sheer - I'm happy to offer these at your session. I also recommend something plain and comfortable like a stretchy cotton dress. This should nicely show bump and allow for a nice range of images for you to treasure.

The maternity photography session is an 1 hour shoot at the studio or on a location of your choice. The maternity shoot can be booked along side the Newborn photography session (this lasts 2 hours) at a discounted rate.

FAQs

When to book?

Ideally the best time is between 28 and 34 weeks as your bump should be showing nicely but you also generally have a good range of movement still.

What to wear?

On the day you are welcome to wear some of your own outfits if you have anything specific, otherwise you are welcome to use gowns, fabric and outfits from the maternity wardrobe.

Can partner join?

Absolutely! Including your partner or other children can be a fabulous way to celebrate the new member to your family and create some great memories.

How long is session?

Sessions typically last about one hour, allowing for breaks and outfit changes. In this time we will run through a number of poses to create a beautiful gallery.

Where are shoots?

The session will take place in the studio unless you have a favourite outdoor local spot and the weather is good.

How to prepare for session?

Get plenty of rest, stay hydrated, and bring any props or outfits you want to include.
