Just a little, every now & then about what I do and what I'm thinking about.
This is the worry I get most often..."what if my baby doesn't settle?" Honestly, this is not an issue.
My newborn sessions are 2 - 2 . 5 hours long for this reason and to ensure everything can be carried out in the most relaxed and chilled way possible. If you're stressed, then baby get stressed and that's not what we want. I play white noise for many of my newborns and carry out a 'baby-led' session. By this I mean I take my cues from baby on when they're happy to be posed, when they need feeding or when they just need a cuddle from Mummy or Daddy.
If baby is unhappy in any particular pose then I'll scrap it - as you're not going to get the shot if you just persist - they know what they want and will get it. So if you are worrying about your little babe being a screamer, please don't. They always settle enough for some pics and I've yet to be defeated...
I'm also the baby whisperer...which helps!
